It’s April 1, and as if on cue, the forecast is calling for a few flurries – no April Fools. Upstate NY seems to hang on to winter as long as it can – even after the calendar has told us Spring has arrived. Needless to say, we move on planning for spring and hoping in another month or so we can begin planting.
This year I’ve been searching for a new large outdoor planter for our front door entryway. I’ve seen so many beautiful ones that are already selling out fast, so I ordered these three from World Market. They came together as a set for under $90. I’m probably going to use the large one for my front door and mix in some smaller terra cotta pots to break up the color. The other two will go by our mudroom side entrance. I’ll share the finished look once the weather cooperates and it’s warm enough to plant. In the meantime, I decided to share a round up of other beautiful affordable ones that I spotted online.
